83Grafik - United Kingdom

Word is born, Ed209 & Thunder Child

83Grafik is a illustrator who likes to pack a punch. THERE IS NO ORDER WITHOUT CHAOS!! I like to work mainly in vector based artwork because i feel i can communicate my style easier that way. I also like predators, such as the harpy eagle, cause it eats things and makes a mess everywhere..

Boyan - Nice biog! I think it is exactly that well-executed chaos which I enjoy in this work. The colours are simple which is a great thing because it means there is a good flow and merge of the graphics without them becoming samely. Good stuff.

Mark Webster - North Highlands (CA), United States

Michael, Anamorphosis & Violin Player

Mark - I wanted to convey the depth of motion of the human figure, landcape, or still life both active and at rest. The result became a form of scuptural abstract imagery of not only the subject itself, but rather the time and space that it occupies in a single moment, or several single moments reducing the form into less complicated shapes. After several drafts I begin developing areas to gain the effect of either greater tension or greater flow. This combined with an edge on edge effect is what gives my work a dimensional depth. The result is a juxtaposition of organic and artifical forms giving my work a sculptural presence.

Boyan - These paintings are like an explosion of imagination on canvas. I like abstract work which has a strong concept behind it and this is clear in Mark’s work. Each painting uses these bold movements of shape and form to emphasize its subject. A lot of skill clearly goes into each painting.

Rebecca Jones – Canberra, Australia

The Sea At Sunset, Playful Imagination, The Red Meeting

Rebecca - I am a student studying Industrial Design at the University of Canberra, Australia. I am relatively new to the art of photography – self taught. I find everyday I am learning something new about it. I enjoy photographing landscape and macro and love using vibrant colours as part of my subjects.

Boyan - I love the drama in these shots. They have very different subject matter but each one finds the drama within. They are so full of energy and life. The first image is so beautifully composed. Really great stuff - see the rest below.

Marsha Elliot - Covington, United States

Bottoms Up, Rural Laundromat & Walking by Faith

Marsha - For an artist, creating is as essential as breathing. We exhale what’s inside using a visual means to communicate our thoughts, feelings & our interpretation of the world around us. What’s inside always comes out so I hope those who view my art will get to know me as a warm, quiet spirited person who loves the happy side of life.

Boyan - I love these paintings. They are very gentle and peaceful, capturing some scenes which might easily be overlooked. Marsha creates a very light, pleasant world through her work and I like that.

Charles Plant - Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

A selection of images

Charles - “The Art of my Eye”… for years, friends and family have said I have an “eye” for a good picture. My “eye” looks for natural emotion, texture, contrasts and uses the beauty of Atlantic Canada as a background. It loves finding beauty in the “everyday”. For thirty years I have enjoyed taking images, but it has only been in the last few, that my passion was awoken and my “eye” fully opened. We hope that you enjoy our images, just as much as my “eye”, and I, enjoyed taking them.

Boyan - I like Charles’ work because it is perfectly executed in a wide variety of styles and subjects. Each of the images has its own style and feel yet together they have a clear, uniting talent.
