I’m a long time pencil artist that has just recently taken the time to spend more time on my art. I’m originally from Leicester Massachusetts, which is about 60 miles from Boston. In 1990 I followed the love of my life to Switzerland where we live with our two boys.
Although the genre of my work is realistic, imitating reality is not the primary goal. I want a viewer of my work to get something out of viewing it. I want to stir some sort of memory, emotion or feeling. When the viewer identifies with a work of art then the art is a success.
Boyan - These pencil drawings are fantastic. RJ has brought life to a great drawing technique which isn’t as popular as it should be. His style is detailed, beautiful and full of subtle emotive expression. Keb’ Mo is a very impressive piece.
